Lodging

A block of 40 rooms has been reserved for the nights of May 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 at the Bell Tower Inn. In order to reserve a room, please contact the Bell Tower directly. The rooms are reserved under the name "UM Mathematics." The rooms cost $129 per night for a single with a charge of $22 for each additional person in the room.

We also have arranged for a block of 30-40 rooms in the Mary Markley dorms on campus which will be substantially cheaper. You will be provided with linens to make your bed(s). Showers and restrooms will be down the hall. You will need to register at least two weeks in advance of the conference.

Another hotel which has quite reasonable rates is the Lamp Post Inn. It is approximately 1.5 miles from campus, so basically within walkable range.

Another option which is quite near campus (2 blocks) is the Campus Inn. We were not able to get a block of rooms there, but you mightgive them a try for an individual room. They are in the same basic price range as the Bell Tower.

The Holiday Inn and the Sheraton operate shuttle services to campus, but in both cases the hours are somewhat limited.

Most major hotel chains have outposts in Ann Arbor which are within easy driving range of campus if you will have a car. Some of these hotels are also on bus lines.

Weber's Inn is a local institution (about 3 miles from campus but not on a bus line) which has wonderful desserts.
