Machine learning has grown in importance and become one of the most researched areas over the past decade. The goal of the is to provide a practical and theoretical introduction many of the most actively studied areas of machine learning, which includes but is not limited to, natural language processing, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and deep learning. We also plan on exploring more theoretical areas of ML such as metric embeddings, optimization, and stability.
