Title: Totally Asymmetric Simple Exclusion Process
Abstract: For several models in physical and mathematical systems, the observables of interest fluctuate with the same scaling exponent of 1/3 and display the same set of limiting distributions. That is to say that they form a universality class--the KPZ universality class. In this talk, we will take one example (Totally Asymmetric Simple Exclusion Process) from this universality class and discuss what this means.
