Title: Using Noether's Theorem to find conserved quantities of NLS
Abstract: In short, Noether's Theorem states that symmetries are in onetoone correspondence with conserved quantities. In this talk, we will set up some of the theory needed for Noether's Theorem. Then, we will go over a few simple examples to understand the statement of Noether's Theorem. Finally, we will extend the analysis to prove a few conservation laws for the NonlinearSchr\"odinger Equation.
