Title: Using Noether's Theorem to find conserved quantities of NLS
Abstract: In short, Noether's Theorem states that symmetries are in one-to-one correspondence with conserved quantities. In this talk, we will set up some of the theory needed for Noether's Theorem. Then, we will go over a few simple examples to understand the statement of Noether's Theorem. Finally, we will extend the analysis to prove a few conservation laws for the Nonlinear-Schr\"odinger Equation.
