Title: Cluster Algebras
Abstract: A cluster algebra is a commutative ring built out of some combinatorial data. In this talk, we will give an introduction to cluster algebras from a commutative algebra perspective. After giving the necessary definitions, we will look at some examples, both wellbehaved and pathological. Finally, we will introduce locally acyclic cluster algebras and discuss their algebraic properties.
