RTG WORKSHOP & LECTURE SERIES
Geometry and Physics of Gauged Linear Sigma Model
March 4-8, 2013

Ann Arbor, MI
Room

As a part of special year on Landau-Ginzburg model in Michigan, we are organizing a workshop on Geometry and Physics of Gauged Linear Sigma Model at the University of Michigan on Mar 4-8, 2013. The gauged linear sigma model has been and will be an important and interesting model in the study of supersymmetric field theory and string theory. Recently, important ground work is being laid to understand it as a mathematical theory. The idea of this workshop is to bring the experts from both physics and mathematics together and provide a place of interaction. The workshop will be informal with a few talks and with ample opportunity for discussion. This workshop is the fourth of a series of conferences on Landau-Ginzburg model (LG4).
