Financial Aid Opportunities
1. In the Financial Aid section of the MMSS Application, indicate your interest in applying for Financial Aid.
2.
Include a brief explanation of circumstances surrounding the request for financial aid.
3. Upload a copy of your 2016 or 2017 federal income tax form 1040 to the application-- Please black out Social Security Numbers (International applicants must submit an official Verification of Salary for each parent - this document must be in English).
Admissions decisions are need-based. Failure to upload income documentation at the time of application may
result in significant delays and could affect eligibility for financial aid. It is recommended that applicants who are seeking
financial aid have a .PDF copy of their tax documents before beginning the MMSS application.
Scholarship Opportunities
University of Michigan - Center for Educational Outreach
The University of Michigan Center for Educational Outreach offers the Watson A. Young Scholarship application on their website. The Watson Young Scholarship offers funding to deserving high school students so they can attend a U-M sponsored summer program.
In the spirit of the life of Watson A. Young, M.D., the goal of this program is to promote academic excellence and college aspiration for students with financial need who may face adversity in achieving their academic and career goals.
To apply for this scholarship, applicants and guardians must complete the application and submit it. The scholarship committee will inform applicants after funding decisions have been made. The application can be accessed by clicking on the Scholarship icon at the bottom of the CEO website home page: ceo.umich.edu
