Math 105-02: Calculus I: Reading Homework 6.3

  1. Differential Equations : what are we doing in this section?
    1. Motion : how is the differential equation for the potiion of an object moving with constant velocity determined? how is it solved? how is the constant of integration determined?
      1. accelerated motion : how is a differential equation for velocity determined for the case in which an object has a constant acceleration? how is this used to find the position of the object as a function of time?
    2. Antiderivatives and Differential Equations : what do we mean when we say we are finding the general solution to a differential equation?
      1. uniqueness : how are we able to determine one solution to a given differential equation?
