This page is for Mathematics Instructors teaching introductory program courses. If you have not been asked to fill this out, you are probably in the wrong place.
Instructions for Filling out the Form:- For the Schedule: First fill in, with one of the
following notations, any time slot that you are
not able to teach.
- For courses you are taking, enter
DEPT ###
, e.g., MATH 605, BIOSTAT 503, EECS 585, STAT 610, etc. We are unable to schedule around courses which do not specify both a department and course number.
- For colloquia or seminars, enter
ABBREVIATED SEMINAR NAME Seminar
, e.g., Stu Combin Seminar, Alg Topology Seminar, AIM Seminar, Actuarial Seminar, Math Teaching Seminar, etc. Be sure to append the word "Seminar" to these entries.
- For other time conflicts, enter a succinct
indication of the conflict, e.g., soccer practice.
- For courses you are taking, enter
- For Course Preferences, indicate any courses you would
prefer to teach or not to teach.
Please note:
- It is obviously not possible to satisfy
everyone's teaching preferences. However, every reasonable
effort is made to match teaching assignments to instructors'
preferences.
- The fewer preferences you specify, the more
likely it is that we will be able to satisfy them.
- Please submit your teaching preferences by
8AM on 31 August.
It is not possible to take account of preferences submitted
after that time.
- You will be notified of your teaching assignment shortly before
the start of the term.
