MATH/ENGR 371 - Numerical Methods for Engineers - Fall 2012

This course presents a survey of the basic numerical methods used in computer simulations. We will study the accuracy and efficiency of the methods, and in some cases we will also consider the important concept of stability. There are software packages that can be used as a black box, but in this course we will look under the hood and see how the methods work.
