Uniform exam dates are absolutely firm. Travel plans will not be considered a sufficient excuse to take an examination on a different date.

The following is a sample daily schedule for a section meeting Monday-Wednesday-Friday. Not all instructors will use precisely this syllabus. In particular, instructors will not always use all of the suggested in-class exercises, and sometimes will use additional ones. Also, it is common to get a little bit ahead of or behind the syllabus.
Section numbers refer to sections in the Math 115 text, Calculus, by Hughes-Hallett, Gleason, et al., second edition. An R in an exercise reference indicates the review section for that chapter.
