2010 Research Experiences for Undergraduates

Basic Information
Michael Zieve's 2010 REU program was part of the larger REU program in the math department at the University of Michigan. Participants were supported by the National Science Foundation.

Subsequent developments
Alex won an Astronaut Scholarship (2011), a Goldwater Scholarship (2011), a British Marshall Scholarship (2012) which he used at Oxford and Cambridge from 2012–2014, and an NSF Graduate Fellowship. He began graduate school at Berkeley in 2014.
Ruthi was the runner-up for the 2011 Schafer prize, and began graduate school at MIT in 2011.
Augie transferred to Columbia, and has now graduated.
